Market Surveyor

Job Summary
Market Surveyor for part-time, remote freelance work. Responsibilities include visiting cigarette selling retail and wholesale stores to collect basic market information, specifically selling price data for all SKUs and photos of tobacco display shelves. Responsibilities also include monitoring market issues by interviewing store owners and workers and checking local news and media regarding the cigarette industry. **** will share the report format, which may be a Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel file, or another format. The work is planned as a monthly report, but the duration and frequency will be individually noticed upon the time of interview and can be a one-time job, long-term quarterly job, or other arrangement.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Visit stores and collect market information and issues on a monthly basis.

- The number and proportion of retail and wholesale stores to be visited are set by ****.
- The initial plan assigns research of an average of 30 tobacco products at 12 stores, which is likely to change. However, the total number of data points (for example, 30 products multiplied by 12 stores equals 360) will be less than 400 per month.
- Write, type, and send the monthly report within the deadline.
- If report quality does not meet **** standards, the contract can be terminated at any time. **** holds the rights to request additional reinforcement visits when report quality is below expectation.

Qualifications
- Career Requirement: Must live in the hiring city and be able to visit around 15 stores within the city each month. Experience working in the tobacco or FMCG industry or working as a surveyor is largely preferred.
- Knowledge: Intermediate level of English in writing and speaking. Intermediate computer usage skills including Excel and PPT.
- Education: No requirements, though a Bachelor's degree or above is preferred.

Working Conditions
This position is a contractor or freelancer, not a full-time job, categorized as part-time with remote work location. If additional missions are given, additional payment will be made per case.

Pay
$200 per month. Payment is based on USD, so the receiving amount in local currency might differ according to the exchange rate.
