Job Summary

- Visit cigarette selling retail and wholesale stores to collect basic market info, specifically selling price data for all SKUs and photos of the tobacco display shelf.
- Monitor market issues by interviewing store owners and workers, and by checking local news and media regarding the cigarette industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Visit stores and collect market information and issues on a monthly basis.
- **** holds the rights to set the desired number of products to conduct price research for the month.

- The number and proportion of retail and wholesale stores to be visited are set by ****.
- The initial plan is to assign research for an average of 20 tobacco products at 12 stores, though this is subject to change. The total number of data points (for example, 20 products multiplied by 12 stores equals 240) will be less than 300 per month.
- Write, type, and submit the monthly report within the deadline.
- If the report quality does not meet ****'s standards, the contract can be terminated at any time. **** holds the rights to request additional reinforcement visits when report quality is below expectations.

Qualifications

- Career Requirement: Must live in the hiring city and be able to visit around 15 stores within the city each month. Experience working in the tobacco or FMCG industry, or working as a surveyor, is largely preferred.
- Knowledge: Intermediate level of English in writing and speaking. Intermediate computer usage skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Education: No requirements, though a Bachelor's degree or above is preferred.

Working Conditions

- This position is a contractor role as a freelancer, not a full-time job.
- If additional missions are given, additional payment will be made per case.
- Pay: $200 per month. The payment will be based on USD, so the receiving amount in local currency might differ according to the exchange rate.
