I currently work as a mathematics tutor in a social-impact project promoted by FUNDETEC, supporting low-income pre-adolescent students with learning difficulties in mathematics. In this role, I help students strengthen their logical reasoning and understanding of fundamental concepts through guided problem-solving and individualized support. This experience has significantly improved my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, as well as my sense of responsibility, patience, and structured thinking — skills that directly translate to software development and data-related tasks.
I carried out a bibliographic review on the Van Dam and Haemers Conjecture, a topic within spectral graph theory and discrete mathematics. The project involved reading and synthesizing academic papers, understanding theoretical arguments related to graph spectra, and organizing complex mathematical ideas in a coherent way. This work strengthened my formal reasoning, attention to detail, and ability to deal with abstract concepts, which I increasingly connect to algorithmic thinking and data analysis contexts.
