"Dr. Paes Leme holds a bachelor’s degree in medicine from Centro Universitário de Volta Redonda (UniFOA) and completed their medical residency in Infectology at Instituto de Infectologia Emílio Ribas. Currently, they serve as an infectious disease specialist at Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz) and Hospital Unimed Volta Redonda (HUVR). Additionally, Dr. Paes Leme. They also pursued the stricto sensu Postgraduate Program in Infectology at Escola Paulista de Medicina/UNIFESP from March to December 2021 (although it was interrupted). Their scientific interests include skin and soft tissue infections, Staphylococcus aureus infections, and biofilm-related infections. Dr. Paes Leme is an ordinary member of EBJIS and ESGIAI (ESCMID).
